Early over the weekend, the FBI released a statement addressing videos “falsely claiming to be from the FBI related to election security.” This included a video claiming the bureau had “apprehended three connected groups committing ballot fraud” and a video about Kamala Harris’ husband.
With the presidential election set to begin tomorrow, misinformation has been rampant over the past few days. Late last week, the FBI, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said they detected two other videos linked to “Russian influence actors,” including one showing Haitians voting illegally in several Georgia counties.

Disney creates dedicated AI and mixed-reality team
Disney recently created a dedicated emerging technology unit. This group, called the Technology Enablement Office, will coordinate the company’s exploration, adoption, and use of artificial intelligence, AR, and VR technology across all things Disney-related.
A Disney spokesperson told Engadget that the Technology Enablement Office will not take over any existing AI and XR projects at the company. Instead, it will support other teams at Disney, many of which are already working on products using those technologies.
